How many canapés or how much grazing food does it hold?
Comfortably. The 29 by 20 cm fan shape offers a generous, long surface ideal for arranging eight to twelve canapés, a cheese selection, or a flowing grazing spread. Its elongated form lets you line up bites elegantly rather than crowding them, and several platters sit beautifully side by side down a table.
Is it sturdy enough to lift and pass while loaded?
Yes. Each platter is heat-pressed from a single naturally fallen sheath into one rigid piece, so it holds its shape and carries a full grazing load without flexing or sagging. Hold it from beneath the broad end when passing it around.
Will oils or moisture from cheese, olives and dips soak through?
No. The dense, naturally pressed leaf is oil- and leak-resistant, so soft cheeses, marinated olives and oily charcuterie sit happily without seeping or staining through. There is no wax, plastic or PFAS lining doing the work, just the leaf itself.
Can I reuse it, and how do I dispose of it afterwards?
Both. Wipe it gently and the platter can serve again across an event or two if kept dry. When you are done, it is home compostable and breaks down in 60 to 90 days, returning cleanly to the soil with no residue.
