Tilipan is a brand of Taitil Global Inc., based in Austin, Texas. We believe something used for a single meal shouldn't cost the earth a thousand years — so we make tableware the way nature already makes it, and let it return the same way.

Out to fix a single-use problem.
Disposable tableware is convenient and almost always a mistake — plastic and foam that outlast the party by centuries. We started Tilipan to make the convenient choice the kind one too.

Areca Palm
Heat-pressed from naturally fallen areca palm sheaths — rigid, wood-grained and quietly beautiful. No tree is cut, nothing is added.
Bagasse
Moulded from sugarcane fibre left over after juicing — smooth, bright and sturdy, with the clean look of porcelain.

Behind every plate is a network of small producers in India's areca regions who collect, wash and press the leaves by hand. Passionate about quality, they care for the land that makes our work possible — and we build the brand, the standard and the route to your table around them.

Made in India, shipped from three continents.
Leaves and cane are collected and pressed by partner producers in India, then warehoused and shipped from our Taitil Global offices in the USA, Europe and India.
